Boxes for OdDs & EnDs OR BiTs & PiEcEs

It all started with a toy box for Zazza our kitten ... once the box was finished, our creative juices began to flow and other 'box' ideas kept on popping into our heads.  So we decided to make and paint more boxes.

The boxes have a 'box' theme and 'to use that which has been used already' idea.  All the boxes  are made from reclaimed floor boards and the majority of the paint is from left over bits and pieces.  Each box takes from between 4 - 8 hours to make with a minimum of 4 coats of paint and the all the detail on the boxes is hand painted. The box is then finished off with an eco-friendly varnish to ensure the box is hard wearing and a true being box for life :-)
