EMRT™

Healing Horses Gently

EMRT™ is a holistic, non-invasive, effective and gentle modality, which brings the horse's body back into balance to achieve optimum health and performance.

An EMRT™ session involves sequential, precise, rolling moves made with the practitioner's hand, fingers and thumbs at key points on the horses body.  These moves work over fascia, a connective tissue, which is found throughout the horse's body.  In prime condition, fascia is loose moist, elastic and allows free movement between all body parts and the free flow of all bodily fluids.

Injury or stress in the horse, causes the fascia to harden, reducing elasticity and the flow of bodily fluids.  Problems within the fascia may present as restricted movement, lack of symmetry and sometimes as bad behaviour in the horse.

EMRT™ works by activating small nerve cells called proprioceptor cells in the fascia.  These proprioceptor cells carry message from via the nervous system to the brain to reprogram the area of trauma.  By releasing tension, correcting restrictions and misalignments of fascia, and by allowing the body to change at its own pace, EMRT™ helps bring the whole body back into a state of balance and symmetry.

This modality address the cause of the imbalance and is as gentle on the Practitioner as it is on the horse, thus enabling you to be effective without stress and strain on your own body.

EMRT™ has been described as the 'missing link' and works alongside the Veterinary Profession and does not replace veterinary treatment or advice.
