Fudge: Prone to Sweet Itchhorse

Fudge is a Riding for the Disabled pony at the Drum RDA in Edinburgh.  For the past four to five years, he has suffered from sweet itch during the summer months.   When I started treating Fudge with EMRT™ at the beginning of February 2009, his coat was dull, with a dry coarse texture, and his skin was flaky yet very greasy, especially close to the hair follicles.

Over a period of two months and four half-treatments, his coat had developed  a beautiful sheen and soft texture, his skin was less flaky and it was no longer greasy.  Although Fudge was originally treated with EMRT™ to help with his sweet itch, the treatments really brought him out of his shell – he has a brighter demeanour, a taller stance and more ‘presence’.  He has changed so much, in fact, that one of the regular RDA helpers did not recognise him, and thought he was a new horse which had just come to the RDA!

Paten: not performing to her usual show standard

Paten was not performing as a show dog and could not stand still and was restless in the show stack; that is why she is being held by her collar in the first photo.

The second photo was taken 2 weeks and 2 CCmrt™ Treatments. Paten performed well at her next show and went on to win a breed and group trophy and continued to perform well at future shows.
